James Holden, Floating Points, Vessel, and Biosphere collaborated with the legendary Maalem Mahmoud Guinea for an artist residency at Dar al-Ma’mûn.

Building on research conducted in Morocco as a Fulbright fellow, I wrote about the project for Red Bull Music Academy and consulted on a mini-documentary for streaming platform Boiler Room. I also contributed liner notes for Marhaba, an album jointly released on Eglo / Border Community.
