We reimagined the SXSW festival experience from the ground up with Works in Process: Powered by Patreon.

Patreon approached us to help build affinity and loyalty among creators, evolve the platform's persona and positioning, and introduce it to new audiences.

Our program at legendary Austin venue Cheer Up Charlies was Patreon’s most ambitious activation ever, welcoming more than 6K visitors over two days. Across multiple stages and touchpoints, we provided a window into the worlds creators are building in real time, from site-specific installations to music performances by Pussy Riot, Magdalena Bay, Zola Jesus, and more, a podcasting 'shark tank' with Chapo Trap House, a comedy happy hour, and a creator-in-residence.

Winner of a CampaignUS BIG Award in Experiential.

"We were a venue (literally) for boundary-pushing, edge-cutting, modern creativity. The party felt like a place for artists. It felt like a celebration of culture."
